A new definition for worker bees

For the past few months I've been working on a series of stories for the European Investment Bank Institute — the philanthropical arm of the giant governmental institution. One of its most interesting programs is the annual Social Innovation Tournament, where entrepreneurs from around Europe share how their companies are addressing societal and environmental problems. This last year has been difficult on so many levels, and it's been such a pleasure to interview such creative people. I loved this Belgian company, BeeOdiversity, in which bees are enlisted to gather information about the environment in an effort to cut pollution, increase biodiversity, and save the bees.
